The school was full of excitement as we celebrated VE Day. Our hall was transformed into a street party complete with wartime music and Union Jack bunting. We enjoyed creating wartime inspired silhouette art and commemorative plates. Children also enjoyed traditional games such as hopscotch and marbles as well as learning the Lindy Hop dance.
To help us reflect on this special day each child created their own memory stone which will become part of our sensory path and a lasting reminder of this incredibly special day.
