This week in EYFS, we explored sharing and grouping in our maths lessons.
The children had a very exciting challenge: they had to share out scales equally onto fish and find out how many groups they could make!
We talked about making sure each fish had the same number of scales and worked carefully to check our sharing was fair. This hands-on activity helped us understand the early ideas of division and grouping in a practical way.
Well done, everyone - you are fantastic mathematicians!
