Coding Creators in Class 1

This week, Class 1 stepped into the world of computer programming with a super fun session using ScratchJr on the iPads!

The children explored how to create simple algorithms by programming characters to move, turn and even jump across the screen. They experimented with different sequences of blocks to move their character to different areas and tried out multiple routines to achieve the same goal — it was all about problem-solving and perseverance!

It was amazing to see EYFS and Year 1 children working like real coders — thinking logically, predicting outcomes, and celebrating their successes with big smiles when their programmes worked just right!
