As part of Class One’s health and life cycles science unit, we have been investigating how results can change over time. The children took part in the Daily Mile every afternoon for the week, running, jogging or walking around the field for five minutes each day. Each time, they carefully recorded how many laps they completed.
At the end of the week, we worked scientifically to observe our results and see if the number of laps increased as we got fitter and more confident. It was fantastic to see so many children improving over the week - great perseverance and brilliant scientific thinking!
