Separating mixtures
In Science we have been learning about mixtures. We have discovered you can separate mixtures that have different sized particle by sieving. We became gold prospectors and created our own sieves to see how much gold we could extract from the sand.
Year 6 leavers
What an incredible way to celebrate our year 6 children. In our beautiful church surrounded by our friends and family we shared our memories and poems to send our year 6 friends off in style.
There may have been quite a few tears mixed in with the laughter 🤭.
Stone Age Boy
In English Willow class, to link with our topic on the Stone Age, have been reading Stone Age Boy.

In Science, Willow class have been investigating the viscosity of liquids and how it affects how they pour.
We carried out our experiments using our plans from the previous lesson and recorded the results.
