How does sound travel?
We have been learning how the string carries the sound waves, vibrates the cup and vibrates their ear drum for us to hear what our friends said.The string is a solid so the sound waves travel quickly.
After a discussion we recorded our findings in our books.

Willow class had a very enjoyable art lesson today, messy but fun.
We have been creating Papyrus paper using strips of sugar paper dipped into glue mixed with water, and layered over wax paper.
How are sounds made?
In Science we were experimenting with different ways to make sounds and recording which part was vibrating.

This week we have been adding the next level to our structure. Our team work and perseverance was incredible and we are thoroughly enjoying this project.
DT. Designing a pavilion.
In DT we have designed a structure. We considered who it would be appealing to and the theme it reflects.
Today we began to use materials to create the different effects and also to ensure our structure was stable.
French
Today in our French lesson we were learning to recognise colour names and words. Firstly we worked in pairs and asked questions about the shape we were holding. Did we describe it correctly? Did our partner need to correct us? Did we manage to trick them?

Odd socks day.
To start our anti bullying week we wore odd socks to show how we are all different and we celebrate just how unique we are.
Ukulele lessons
Our band is doing incredibly well. We have learnt the chords, C,AM and F. Listen to our playing,you’ll be very impressed.
Stop animation
The children created flip books showing off their stop animation skills.
Frame structures
In our DT lesson we have been looking at pavilions. Today we used our understanding of strong and stable, to build a structure.
Wellbeing day with Steel the Gladiator.
We had an incredible day with Steel. He inspired us to eat healthier, drink plenty and never give up on our dreams.
